Blur

Blur

Sophie is a young researcher looking for artefacts in the most remote corners of the world. On one of her expeditions, she discovers a mysterious ruin that appears as if from thin air. However, the true prize of this discovery is an odd statue of a long-forgotten deity. Taking a quick photo, Sophie returns home to Sydney to learn more about this strange entity, but her investigation is cut short by a series of sinister and surreal occurrences. Sophie’s friend Jade is left to pick up the pieces and soon comes face to face with an ancient force hell-bent on her destruction.

A fantastic Giallo-style psycho-horror, Blur mixes its unique supernatural mystery with ghastly practical effects, emerging as an ingenious example of local home-grown independent filmmaking.
